This buff charges over damage taken, about 350, and lasts for about 10 seconds.
What is does, is provide a defensive buff to team mates. This weapon, I’ve found, is mainly useful in defensive situations. This is useful in both offensive and defensive situations. That is SO much better than 24 health per second especially if you’re looking to be really aggressive. If you add these together, with both the Black Box and a Medic, you’ll be receiving 39 health a second! While using the Black Box, if you shoot at somebody, and hit them, with all 3 of your rockets, you’ll get about 45 health per every 3 seconds. But now think of this, it takes you about 1 second to shoot your rocket (0.8 seconds). Let me level with you for a sec: In regular combat, if you have a Medic healing you, you will be healed 24 health per second. If there is a Medic on your team, and he’s healing you, the only thing this weapon will do, is help him heal you faster. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here is why this weapon is good. I love to only shoot 75% of the explosive projectiles I potentially could at maybe a slightly faster rate/while getting +15 health per hit! Please kill me!” And to that, I say, “If you say that one more time I’m going to shove my fourth rocket so far up your ass it’ll knock out your teeth.” Now, you may be thinking to yourself, “But Passive! I don’t need 4 rockets. Something many people may not take into account about the Black Box, and the Liberty Launcher for that matter, is that there is 1 less rocket. But to summarize it for you, I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad weapon, just…not a good one.
